Ritz is releasing a new, limited-edition "Buttery-er" flavored cracker, and to celebrate the release, customers have a chance to win a 24-karat solid gold bar that's molded in the shape of a stick of butter.
The cracker company teamed up with jewelry designer Greg Yüna to create the gold bar, which is worth approximately $100,000, according to the company.
According to Ritz, the new cracker aims to "capture the buttery flavor that fans know and love, elevating the flaky and irresistible crackers with an extra boost of decadence in every bite." The limited-edition cracker will be available for $4.29 at retailers nationwide starting April 29, according to the company.
“With the new limited-edition Buttery-er Crackers we’re taking it to the next level for our buttery-flavor loving fans by offering one lucky winner the ultimate prize of a 24-karat gold bar in the shape of a traditional stick of butter, all in homage to the extra buttery flavor they know and love,” said Mayte Killeen, senior brand manager at Ritz, in a news release.
How to enter for chance to win gold bar
To participate in the promotion, customers can showcase their "Buttery-er" selves by creating a TikTok video using the Live Buttery-er TikTok effect created by Ritz starting May 1 at midnight ET and ending May 20 at 11:59 p.m. ET, the company said.
To enter, fans should post their video to TikTok and tag @theritzcrackersofficial in the caption. Fans should also include the hashtags #livebutteryer and #RITZcontest in the caption. There is also a mail-in, alternative entry method, according to Ritz.
