Rob Gronkowski spikes first pitch at Red Sox Patriots' Day game in true Gronk fashion

It's a first pitch only Gronk could make.
The Boston Red Sox hosted its annual Patriots' Day game on Monday, with the team playing the Cleveland Guardians in the morning game after the Boston Marathon. It's a big day in the state of Massachusetts, and to commemorate the day, the Red Sox had Rob Gronkowski, former New England Patriots tight end and Grand Marshall to this year's race, throw the ceremonial first pitch.
It's a moment where celebrities and athletes can very easily be made fun of if their pitch doesn't make the plate, but Gronkowski was the exception on Monday when his pitch hit the dirt à la his signature spike:
Of course, the spike is the celebration Gronkowski did whenever he scored a touchdown for the Patriots, and it's become a move synonymous with him since he stepped away from the football field, like when he did it at a New Year's Eve show with a Lego head of Steve Harvey. The crowd at Fenway Park savored the moment when it erupted in cheer after Gronkowski spiked the baseball.
